Established in 1971, Uttam Prakashan is a Maharashtra-based educational publishing house with a legacy of over 55 years in creating trusted academic resources for students and educators.

Our journey began with determination rather than resources. Founded with limited means, the company was built through the relentless dedication of its founder, who single-handedly took on every responsibility—from writing and editing content to marketing, distribution, and building relationships with schools, teachers, and booksellers. Today, we publish over 3 lakh books annually, serving students across the Science, Commerce, and Arts streams for Std. X, XI, and XII under the Maharashtra State Board curriculum. Our catalogue features more than 50 titles, including our widely recognised Papers with Solutions, Practical Handbooks, Application-Based Test Series, Question & Answer Guides, and Language Guides.
